The Trouble With Whiskey by Melissa Foster

The Trouble with Whiskey was everything I wanted in a second chance style romance between two best friends who drifted apart.

Their shared history of daredevil stunts and adventurous spirits provides a stunning and unique backdrop to their love story. I loved their shared past and how opposite they were in handling the trauma that came with it.

These two had beautiful chemistry and really grew into themselves over the course of the book and their developing relationship. Dare’s relentless need to give Billie the best of everything is just the kind of book boyfriend energy we all love to see.

I could probably go on for days and days about how amazing I think this book is, but suffice it to say I did not see the twist at the end coming and I thought it was so beautifully well done and the end of their romance was so quintessentially Billie and Dare that I could not put it down.

If you like dirty-talking heroes with sweet spots for their ladies, childhood bestfriends turned lovers, or amazing and adventurous leads, you’ll want to give this one a try.

Your Romance Reviewer,

Eliza.
