Wow! What a second book in this series. Sasha and the Stalker is complex, mysterious, and intriguing. Sasha is hilarious, as always, and her chemistry with Luca is definitely off the charts hot.
I love Sasha’s development in this book as she struggles with being both included in and sometimes excluded from the life Luca leads as the mafia boss. She’s learning from his family and spending time making connections, all while being kept from some of the messier parts of his life, but she struggles with his being away and keeping secrets. So Sasha is Sasha and pushes back. Their equally strong personalities play back and forth in a delightful dance while they navigate family allegiances, workplace dangers, and a stalker.
There’s laughter, there’s steamy scenes, there’s just a little bit of murder. This book has it all. There are a few things in this book that seemed to lack closure or details that were included that slowed down the pacing and not add to the story, so I cannot give it five stars, but if these elements are resolved in the third book, I reserve the right to change my rating. I’m also looking forward to seeing if my one outrageous theory is true or not. I hope not. But I also hope so.
I don’t even know how to describe this but I swear you will love this book because Sasha’s narration is so honest and true. It remains down to earth while being witty and precise. Sasha knows what she wants and she fights for it, which is something we adore. I love that she meets Luca toe to toe and isn’t afraid to call him out. And I love that he does the same for her. I will warn you this book ends on a cliffhanger, so I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for book three. Even so, I would definitely recommend you pick up this series and begin with book one, Sasha and the Butcher.
You will fall in love with Sasha and the band of friends and family she surrounds herself with. This series is definitely worth a read. Start with the first book here.

Sometimes you choose the killer.
Sasha Mitchell fell in love.
Had her heartbroken by lies.
Became a killer.
And still, she couldn’t stay away from Luca Moretti.
Now that they’re engaged, Sasha is realizing she’s going to have to make sacrifices to keep the people in her life safe.
With threats coming from the feds, rivals, and traitors from inside the family, will Sasha even make it down the aisle? Sasha and the Stalker is the second full-length novel in a trilogy and features a plus-size bisexual heroine and a cinnamon roll mob boss that has no problem ending any threats to the woman he loves. This book ends on a cliffhanger and contains mature themes and content that may not be suitable for all audiences. Please check the author’s website for CW and TW.
